Altai mountains – petroglyphs (wall paintings 8th century BC). We keep following Chuysky Tract towards Mongolian border. En-route stops will inclide Chike-Taman Pass (1295 metres above sea level), very much admired by photographers for its view points.
We will see the rock paintings of Kalbak-Tash – petroglyphs - where the wall paintings consist of more than 5000 pictures. The oldest go bakc to the 8th century (BC!). Lunch will be served in a local Altaian cafe. Late afternoon we arrive at another yurt camp Tydtuyaryk near Mongolian border.
