Today we’ll enjoy the main sights of Kiev: we’ll walk from the incredibly graceful Andreevskaya Church along the relief Andreevsky Descent to the lowland district of Kiev - Podol, known as the historical center of trade and crafts of the city. We’ll reach one of the main symbols of the city - the monument to the Duke Vladimir, from where mesmerizing views of the mighty Dnieper River, as well as visit the main monastery of Ukraine - the amazing Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Then we’ll move to the unique skansen of Mamaev Sloboda, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the glorious times of the Ukrainian Cossacks. We’ll get acquainted with the way of life, traditional architecture and military traditions of the Cossacks. Do not miss the opportunity to try folk Cossack dishes in the local tavern - Azat kulish, vertuns, dumplings, krucheniks, and also traditional alcoholic drinks - varenukha, spotikach, musules and mead.
