Welcome to Kiev - one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe dating back to the 5th century! As the centre of Kyivan (Kievan) Rus, the first eastern Slavic state, 1,000 years ago, it acquired the title “Mother of Rus Cities.”

It was this state that shaped the religious and cultural foundations of the modern Slavic eastern European states. Today Kiev is an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre of Eastern Europe. It is home to many high-tech industries, higher education institutions and world-famous historical landmarks.

Upon arrival at Kiev Boryspol International Airport, you will be transferred to a cozy hotel in the city center.

In the evening we’ll have a walk in the center of the Ukrainian capital. We’ll go along the main street of Kiev, Khreshchatyk, built up in a pompous Soviet architectural style. We’ll follow to the heart of Kiev - Independence Square – Maidan Nezalezhnosti, the place where the main events in the modern history of Ukraine took place. We’ll also see one of the oldest temples in Ukraine - St. Sophia Cathedral, built in the 11th century and rebuilt in the bright and recognizable style of the Ukrainian Baroque. The lights of evening Kiev are waiting for you!
