Russian Arctic National Park, Novaya Zemlya archipelago, welcomes volunteers ready to test themselves in these severe conditions of the North. Volunteers will be able to participate in repairation and construction activities across the National Park, help with the area cleaning. There will also be a chance to take part in ecological trails’ design projects, professional photo and video shooting, and many other activities. Volunteer are invited to join the permanent team of Russian Arctic National Park during three summer months of June-August; applications are accepted as far as a year in advance.
Each volunteer program is a tailor-made journey and subject to approval by the autohorities of the Reserve. Your final duties will be determined once you join the team on site. Your Discovery Russia Destination Expert will assist you with Russian visa, flights, transportation to the Reserve and any extra tours in Russia. Length of your stay in the Reserve is flexible and depends on how much time you have. You can leave earlier or later, your Russian travel exper shall arrange it on request.
