Today we return to Irkutsk, making another ice crossing at Baikal. Then, start our return to Irkutsk, which will take another 5-6 hours. We will make a stop for lunch en-route.
Arrive to Irkutsk and take a city tour in the evening, time permitting we will visit the Angara ice breaker museum, which is the 3rd oldest in the world.
Irkutsk was founded in the middle of the XVII century and is famous for its wooden houses and wooden lace perfectly preserved. In fact, the Irkutsk historic centre is one huge open-air museum.
