F1 Grand Prix
Sochi has established itself as one of the country's top sporting destinations. It hosted the Winter Olympics 2014. It hosted the FIFA World Cup 2018. Since 2014, it is a home for Formula 1 Grand Prix Russia. Welcome to the subtropical Russian seaside resort, enjoy the race! Besides, a trip to F1 Russia is a great chance to explore Moscow and St Petersburg, Russia's must-see cities!
Fernando Alonso, a double Formula 1 champion:
"A great round! This is the second year when we came to Russia, and it's great. The organisers have done a great job in organising this Formula 1 weekend, as well as built a very good track. Sochi Autodrom is a challenge for the drivers - competing in Sochi is interesting and rather difficult given that the engineers have to find the right settings for a track with fast and slow corners, and the drivers have to do their best close to the walls. This is thrilling."

TESTIMONIALS, Andrew Wiefler, World Cup 2018 Russia
I decided to use the Discovery Russia Tour Service of the World Cup after some extensive research into the tour alternatives.
Discovery Russia seemed to differentiate its tour Service by providing a more culturally based service with a healthy dose of Football and Fun.
My experience was that it as well run ie they delivered on their promises. They have a health mix of local staff and Australian staff. The Russian staff had a great empathy for the challenges for us Aussies traveling in a country where you had no language skills they bridged that gap with there wonderful help.
I know there are many alternative tours but Discovery Russia certainly lived up to its name. I felt I discovered part of Russia but there’s plenty more to go!’ Overall just a great experience.
