Amongst many wonders in nature there is one that truly stands apart: Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. The colours, the scale, the mightiness, the severe yet fragile beauty of this sheer spectacle next to the Arctic Circle. Nothing compares to it on Earth. Discover the thrills of Aurora Borealis in Russia. The Kola Peninsula is the best place in Russia with the highest chances to view the Northern Lights in action. We customize tours on request.
Aurora Boreal, la maravilla natural: ¡la mejor ubicación para ver en Rusia!
Lovosero is the top destination of Kola Peninsula for Aurora Borealis viewing, there are very high chances to observe it directly at the eco lodge you stay in! However we recommend to spend at least 3 nights here to maximize the chances of Aurora Borealis viewing, and due to remoteness of the location. NOTE: clear skies and solar activity are the critical conditions to watch Aurora Borealis, best timing is from 8:00 pm till 2:00 am.

Roberto, expat in Russia: GREAT NORTHERN LIGHT EXPERIENCE IN MURMANSK AND KOLA PENINSULA
Excellent experience in Murmansk and Kola peninsula for 5 days and 4 nights. We managed to see the Northers Light in 2 different nights, all the beauty of the region and all the possible experience (Husky, Reindeer, snow mobile, ice fishing, Teriberka, banya, etc..). A wonderful experience that I suggest to everybody. Irina, our consultant from Discovery Russia, was very helpful, in organizing the tour in line with our needs and requests. The on-site guide was very professional and always available providing us all the information and details. In 4 nights we spent night in 3 hotels but the logistic was well organized. Great experience.WHAT TO PACK
