Naryan Mar is the main city of the Nenets Autonomous District, which is, in turn, a pretty unique region of Russia. The vast territory is almost entirely located north from the Polar Circle. The last snow here melts at the end of July, and winter lasts for just about 220-240...days a year.

The Nenets District is mysterious northern spaces with a unique landscape and a set of natural, historical and cultural values, unusual and indescribable. We can hope to get some decent northern lights viewing here or amazing winter rainbow. Let's get ready to travel through vast expanses of snowy tundra to reach the edge of the world and check what's up there.
