Arrival in Barnaul and meet your guide. We drive on the famous Chuyskiy Tract (highway), the part of the ancient Silk Road which connected China and Europe. We drive via mountains passes Seminskii and Chike-Taman to the Kurai steppe. Chusky Tract is the Siberia's most acclaimed road and N5 in National Geographic's list of "The most beautiful highways"

We reach Kurai crater (1700 m asl) to see the ancient stained moraine. Overnight in tents at the campbase.
