Not much has changed since the first Russian Tsars united numerous principalities into the first Moscovia State, which later grew into the Russian Empire. 150 years younger sibling, Moscow, has since then grown into a global megalopolis and once a capital of world's second superpower. While Suzdal, which used to be a regional capital and powerful state as well, stayed away from politics for at least 500 years. And who knows what's better?
