Yekaterinburg is a large junction of seven railway routes. More than 600 monuments of history and culture are located in the city, and 43 of them are considered to be top national monuments because of their special significance!

Europe-Asia border

The Ural Mountains are regarded as the border between Europe and Asia. To the west of the Urals lies European Russia, the cradle of the Russian culture. To the east lies the vast land of Siberia. The border of Europe and Asia is one of the must-visit sights in the vicinity of Ekateriburg. The monument was erected in 2004 and represents two interwined letters A and E. There you can happily put one foot in Europe and other in Asia and take some unique photographs.
