Guided tour to the royal Peterhof Palace, located near the seashore of the Gulf of Finland, 60 kilometres away from the city. We take a boat to get there and will return by the intercity bus - great local experience itself!
Gardens and Parks are spread over more than four hundred hectares, and include thirty-one amazing museums and beautiful Versailles-style gardens. Interiors, as always in Russia, are all made of gold. In summer, the Peterhof is especially good thanks to its famous fountains which run naturally.
Tour continues with a visit to Faberge Museum with the world famous and unique Faberge Eggs Collection. St. Petersburg’s first Fabergé Museum, a must see, has opened at the Shuvalov Palace on the Fontanka Canal, close to the Imperial Anichkov Palace and just a short block from Nevsky Prospect. The palace houses the celebrated Fabergé collection of the Link of Times Foundation owned by Russian Entrepreneur Viktor Vekselberg, which, with its over 1500 choice pieces, is one of the richest, if not the most, in the whole world.
