If you do go to Russia for New Year, you’ll get to have Christmas twice. Russian’s celebrate their Orthodox Christmas on January 7th, which means you pretty much have a whole two weeks to get over the first Christmas and get into the second.

Overnight in Suzdal in a cozy local boutique hotel.

Russian Christmas has no official public ceremonies, every town, hotel and even a museum runs own program which is of course kept in a secret from competing rivals. We’ll get to find out what Suzdal has on stake this year!
